MIT Endicott House, September 22 2012
The CSAIL Student Workshop (CSW) is an informal venue organized by the students, for the students. It brings together student researchers in disparate fields by providing a platform for interaction and the exchange of ideas. The CSAIL Student Workshop provides students the opportunity to find out what friends are doing and show off innovations. Plus, it's an opportunity to get out of Cambridge for the day on someone else's dime.
This year, we will be having the event at MIT's Endicott House, and finishing the day with a dinner cruise on the Charles. Transportation will be provided and registration is free. If you're a new student or old, don't miss it!
The conference is an all-day event, with a single track of paper presentations and five minute Rapid-Fire presentations, and a poster session. Accepted papers and abstracts will be published in the workshop proceedings, which will be available only within the CSAIL community. Therefore, submissions which discuss recently published or to-be-published work are also acceptable. Proposals for new research directions and preliminary results are also encouraged so long as they are described as such. All ideas related to 'Wild and Crazy Ideas' and 'Interesting Problems in Computer Science' are welcome as Rapid-Fire presentation submissions. The Workshop Committee will strive to accept as many high quality papers and abstracts as possible for presentation at the workshop.
Attendance is limited, and registration may fll up. Guarantee your spot at CSW 2012 by submitting a paper, poster or Rapid-Fire presentation abstract!
