How to make your office into a bread machine:
Necessary supplies (Many of which can be found here and there about the
lab):
Flour, Sugar, Salt, Yeast, Water, Butter, Milk, Heat source, Mixing
apparatus
First read all of the old COG papers and raid Rod and Ron's areas for
supplies (clean up after yourselves though or you may unleash Ron's
vindictive nature). You will need to rebuild most of COG but it will be
worth it because was really good at repetitive mixing motions.
You will need to choose the office that you use as the bread machine
carefully. It should have one small window (preferably a skylight for
the right effect). And most importantly it must have a leak. On second
thought you shouldn't have to try that hard to get the right office.
Just don't accidentally grab a water tight one.
Next collect all of the spare computers, CRTs and halogen lamps from
your floor. Put them in your office and fire them all up. Train a big
'ol SVM or something that will churn away for several hours and use all
of the CPU's you just setup.
Go to the Bio area on D3 and grab a few random samples from the lab. At
least one or two of them should be yeast and the rest are unlikely to be
too harmful... They may even be useful, e.g. performing simple
computations or glowing green when the bread is done.
Next spread the ingredients all around your office. Note: You will need
a lot of flour. Wait for a major rain storm and when you have a
sufficient water supply, send COG the mixing signal, and then start the
SVM training procedure on your CPUs.
Due to the size of your oven and loaf you may have to allow several days
for the bread to rise and then bake. Pay careful attention to the
wetness of the dough, as you don't want it to be pasty or to collapse
under its own weight.
Serve, and enjoy.
