Dear Diary,

Why was I born a nerd and not a ninja?  I blame society.  Society has
nurtured more environments for the growth of nerds than of ninjas, and I'm
surely the victim of an overwhelming statistical truth: that a given person,
chosen at random, is more likely to be born a nerd than a ninja.
