Ground Hog Day: a one week retrospective

Today marks the one week anniversary of groundhog day. Ah, remember back to last Friday when the furry little feller crawled out of his hole and... Actually, I don't remember if it was sunny that day or not. In fact I don't even remember if seeing his shadow means we have more winter or less. What I do know is that he is a cute lovable and entirely abused little critter that has nothing to do with global warming, a.k.a. the weather. Yeah it's cold out today but just think how much colder it would be without global warming. Conversely, without the little groundhog dude, well, there'd be fewer groundhogs.

At this point you may be wondering what my point is in all this. Well, I have a question for you. How many GSB messages have you read? How many of them have a point? Get it? Gosh golly gee. You are all such a bunch of goal oriented, figure it out, get to the bottom of it, must catch the subtle humor sort of people. There is no subtle humor here, there is just some ramblings about a groundhog. Why? Because the groundhog's ability to send email about his own stream of consciousness is only equaled by his ability to predict the weather and sometimes make a day of your life repeat over and over and over and over again.

On behalf of G-hog (or not) come raise your glass, relax and just enjoy the day for what it is and the weather for what it will be and hope a groundhog doesn't raid GSB and make us crawl into his hole just so his family can find out if you will graduate this year or not...
