Where will the Joes go?

Well it's finally over. The end of the campaign is like the last episode 
of a season for a TV show. We're not exactly sure what's going to happen 
with our favorite characters. Will they be back? Will we have some 
exciting new ones who take their place?

- The election. It's gone. Maybe. Except for those places that are 
taking a week to count ballots. What's taking them so long!? We've got 
run-offs and and we've got recounts. Will it end before the next one begins?

- "Joe" the "Plumber." Not really named Joe. Not a licensed plumber. Not 
a business owner. Still trying to capitalize on his 30 seconds of fame. 
He wants to form a government watchdog group. He's got a website where 
you can sign up for a "Freedom Membership" for $14.95/year. Benefits 
include:
    - Total Access to "Joe The Forum" where you may chat directly with 
Joe and
    - Free Shipping on all "Joe The Plumber" merchandise.
Will "Joe" manage to extend his guest appearance into next season?

- Joe Lieberman. Will this election "have consequences" for him?

- "Uncle" Ted "Tubes" Stevens. Will he survive when all the votes are 
counted? Will the Senate expel him? Will he be sent back to Alaska and 
his "not-a-gift" massage chair?

- Sarah Palin. Will we miss the interviews? You betcha! Especially the 
SNL skits where all they had to do was have Tina Fey read the interview
transcript. Will she escape from her Alaskan exile? Will the fall of 
Stevens lead to a mid-season return for a Senator Palin?

- Rahm "Rambo" Emanuel. A new star. Triathlon participant. Lost half a 
finger in a meat-slicer on prom night and almost died. Won a ballet 
scholarship. Mailed a dead fish to a pollster. Inspiration for Josh 
Lyman on "The West Wing." What will he bring to the show?

- Barack "That One" Obama. He's got the White House now. Too bad it's 
like a "Price is Right" showcase. You've won a fabulous vacation! And a 
really huge, useless projection television. Don't forget you have to get 
these prizes home yourself and pay the taxes! You've won the White 
House! And also this really awful economy! And we mean really bad. Can 
Barack get us out of this hole?

- Joe Biden. Is there an Acela train stop at the Naval Observatory? Will 
he build one?
