[csail-related] GSB Tonight: GUN/Lunix

Someone pointed me here:

For those of you not interested in using Flash to view a movie, I'll
explain. This is an excerpt from TechTV's "The Screen Savers" that
reviews this article:

   http://www.adequacy.org/stories/2001.12.2.42056.2147.html

For those of you not interested in using a web browser to read an
article, I'll explain. The page is allegedly written by a man who
thinks his son is a "computer hacker" (a cracker or "black hat hacker"
for those in the know). He makes all sorts of wild claims about the
warning signs for your son (or daughter) being a cracker. One of these
signs is (from the article):

   8. Is your son obsessed with "Lunix"?

BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an
illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet
computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the
Russians lost the Cold War. ...

I goes on, but "Lunix"? The TechTV guys lol'd; I got worried, then
lol'd; lols were had, but hopefully no one pays him much credence ...

The article got me looking around the net for references to "Lunix". I
found this article, that is SO SO SO SO NOT SAFE FOR WORK ... but I read
it anyway:

Let's discuss the evils of using GUN/Lunix (or---for those in the
know---lets discuss how not to get caught using Lunix) at this week's:
