Well the holidays are basically upon us. That means people will be flying
out pretty soon and visiting family. For some, this is great. For others
it's more of a drag. I'm lucky enough to find myself in the former
category. Where do you lie [1]?
This has always been my favorite time of year. Probably because it's a
time when we get together with family [2]. I look forward to seeing them.
Speaking of my family, my brother passed his quals today [3]! Good for
him. I never had a doubt [4].
Also, there's going to be 3 simultaneous events today -- board games, GSB,
and the R&D pub night. Yet another reason this is my favorite time of year
[5].
Let's talk about what we think of this "rich text" format thing at this
week's:
*Girl Scout Benefit*
*5:30 pm -- 32-G9 Lounge*
For those coming from elsewhere: Building 32 is here:

Once you are in 32, just take the G-elevator
to the 9th floor and you will be looking at us.

[1] Lye? Lay? Ly? Lai? Not a fan of that word ....
[2] Either that or because it's my birthday, then Halloween, then
Thanksgiving, then Christmas. Nah, it's probably the family.
[3] Apparently this is a really big deal when you're a "Not CS" major.
[4] Smarts run in the family ;-)
[5] It sure as hell isn't the weather.
