[csail-related] GSB Tonight: Maths

Yes, Maths. Not math, maths. Why? Because Britton [1].
I've started trying to go to the gym again [2]. I tend to get lazy, as
most biological creatures do, so I stopped for a while. Then I started
again. It's funny what you remember and what you forget about an
experience. For example, I remembered how enjoyable it was to see my
friends and work out with them. Y'know -- catching up. On the other hand,
I forgot how *completely terrible* MIT people are at math. Or maybe it's
just they're terrible at bucket-sort?
What am I talking about [3]? Well it seems that more often than not, my
process at the gym involves first re-sorting the weight racks [4]. Put the
5's with the 5's, the 10's with the 10's ... I swear it takes me *a full
minute* to do it [5]. I guess on the bright side, I get a little extra
workout, because I first have to get weights out of the wrong "bucket"
before there's room to put the right ones in. I guess there's a silver
lining to everything ^_^. [6]
Bring an admitted student, and let's talk about whether those cute, little,
brownish birds that are all over the place should be called "hop-hops" or
"chirp-chirps" at this week's:
*Girl Scout Benefit*
*5:30 pm -- 32-G9 Lounge*
For those coming from elsewhere: Building 32 is here:

Once you are in 32, just take the G-elevator
to the 9th floor and you will be looking at us.

[1] I misspelled Britain. Whatever. I guess Bryt has been summoned.
[2] Is the subject line starting to make sense? It should be ...
[3] And have I really selected the best demographic for this conclusion?
[4] How hard is it not to mess it up in the first place, people!?
[5] I mean, if I didn't have to do this I'd probably be out of here already
-- *and with 2 Ph.D.'s* O_O
[6] The periods after "^_^" smileys look like beauty marks. What a
beautiful smiley.
