***Note, once again, the unusual time and location!***

The first, last, and only Vice-Presidential debate is tonight, from
9pm to 10:30pm.  This will be your only chance to watch 
"Vinegar Joe" Lieberman duke it out with "Desert-Storm Dick" Cheney 
in a no-holds-barred battle of sound-bites.

Will moderator Bernard Shaw destroy a candidate with a single question
the way he destroyed Dukakis?  Will the rabbit-ear antenna I'm
bringing help us get better TV reception than we had for the Tuesday
night debate?  Will Lieberman say "wealthiest 1%" and "lockbox" as
often as Gore did?  Will Cheney follow Bush's lead and recommend that
we turn to Mexico to reduce our dependency on foreign energy sources?
Will Lieberman steal the religion and morality vote from the GOP?
Will Cheney steal the... uhm.  Someone remind me what demographic he
hopes to attract to the ticket; they can't possibly be aiming only for
oil-barons, can they?

Join your fellow labfolk once again as we tune in, turn on, and drop
pizza down our maws while mocking the debate in a pathetic attempt at
detaching ourselves emotionally from the devastating possibility that
a really big dummy could win this election.
