From pgs@ai.mit.edu Fri Jul 9 08:38:44 1993 Return-Path: From: pgs@ai.mit.edu (Patrick Sobalvarro) Date: Thu, 8 Jul 93 22:43:32 EDT To: all-ai Subject: GSB Friday, July 9, 5:30 p.m., 7th floor playroom This is to let you know that we will indeed be having our weekly G I R L S C O U T B E N E F I T on Friday, July 9th, at 5:30 p.m., in the seventh floor playroom. There will be plenty of light, refreshing lager to help you combat the lassitude and dejection of these incipient dog days of summer. Note that we did not say "Lite" refreshing lager. We fervently hope that you will never find a "lite" beer at GSB. Rather, we have the light (in color), refreshing Sam Adams Boston Lager, and what we believe is a Muenchner Helles from Hacker-Pschorr. But we can't be absolutely sure of the style, because we haven't tried it, and German breweries have this bad tendency to think up completely random names for beers that they export to the U.S. For example, did you know that the DAB "Dark" we have been drinking recently is actually an Altbier? We didn't either, until sometime last week. Still, we hope you'll find this week's beers refreshing, and that you will enjoy them. As for us, we shall be at 30,000 feet, somewhere over the heartland.
