There sat Mark Nahabidian (sp?) and Greg Galperin, each quietly absorbed in their own publication. Nearby were 12 bottles of the traditional fluid which Naha had kindly provided. I was inspired to comment something obnoxious like, "This looks like partying MIT style!" "Nonsense!!!" They replied. This is GSB. "Your Nonsense is Nonsense!!!!" I replied. "There was no GSB message!" This being an unofficial and virtually worthless, but nevertheless, very real GSB message, the only question which now remains is whether that mysterious period just before 6PM can be retroactively considered to be part of GSB. This is really a deep question of hermeneutics, the signifier, the signified, and perhaps even reader-response-criticism, although techniques such as deconstruction can probably be avoided in attacking this highly technical problem. If you can aid with the solution, by all means, come join us wild revelers at this week's *** G I R L S C O U T B E N E F I T *** We'd love to have you.
