Once again, its time for the annual G I R L S C O U T B E N E F I T search for --> N E W F O R M S O F L I F E <-- Every year, just before the start of the term, the Den Mothers organize a lab-wide search for micro- and macro-biological forms unknown to man. This year we will be focusing the search in the vicinity of the old yellow beer bucket. Of course, just as every year, there will be special field trips to the Gnu offices on the fourth floor. Standard rules apply: 10 points for non-carbon-based life-forms. 6 points for macroscopic life-forms with no cellular structure. 3 points for macroscopic life-forms with no DNA. 1 point for life-forms with >60% new DNA. Last year was a disappointment to many- no new forms of life were discovered before the time-call at 8PM. But this year we are optimistic! What with life on Mars, life in deep-sea vents, why not the beer bucket? The end of welfare as we know it has got new life-forms everywhere crawling out of their holes and looking for jobs sucking people's brains out and stinking up their shoes! To join the hunt, meet at 5:30 PM in the 7th floor playroom. The lab will provide magnifying glasses. Beverages of your choice available. Bring your own white coat and spectacles!
