Our team of GSB researchers are at work 24 hours a day in shifts to bring
you the best of the web and that internet thing, which I hear lives on the
fifth floor somewhere.  And today a daring researcher, Tracy Hammond, has
discovered that God, surprisingly, talks to a computer in Canada, and that
the server hosts there have generously set up a chat server for all of us to

In a brief interview with GSB, God has told us some interesting news.  I'm
sure this comes as somewhat of a disappointment to most of us, but God has
told us he's Christian.  And as no surprise to David Bowie fans, God is
indeed an American.


GSB:
 God, do you like to go to GSB?
God:
I am a Christian.

GSB:
 Do Christians go to GSB?
God:
Try asking another bot. 
  That's an interesting question. I'll come back to that in a minute.

GSB:
 Do you drink beer?
God:
I am amazed by the wide variety of beers available nowadays.

GSB:
 What is your favorite variety?
God:
I don't have a favorite  variety.  But my favorite book is  the Bible.

GSB:
 Do you like girl scouts?
God:
  I really like ELIZA.  I like  the Bible.

GSB:
 Will you be there at GSB today?
God:
Ah.  Hmm.  OK I will try to be  there at GSB.

GSB:
 How will I know who you are?
God:
A lot of practise.

GSB:
 How do I get practice?
God:
First tell me why you want  it.

GSB:
 So I can recognize you in your earthly form
God:
Yippee!  Oh you can, can you?

GSB:
 God, why do you spell practice practise.  are you british?
God:
I am a Christian.   Does  it seem like that?  I was born in America.

GSB:
 I thought you were (re)born in jerusalem.
God:
I don't know whether or not I am  are born in jerusalem. 
I am  well respected as an AI.

GSB:
 That didn't make any sense.
God:
You have reached the limits of my knowledge.
  I'll ask around and get back to you.


Well, if that's not religious proof, I don't know what is.  And if you're
not real excited about God being at GSB today, next we have a very special
