AKA:  Smart phones get an attitude with new technology from the media lab.

"It looks like the person you are talking to is being a jerk, do you 
want me to insult their Mama?"

"Hey!  Wake up!  Yo'mama's talk'n to ya!  Don't make me smack you upside 
your head!"

These are some of the things the smart phones of the future may be able 
to suggest with cutting edge JIT-SAS (Just in Time Smart Ass Suggestion) 
technology.  It takes state of the art research in tone and attention 
detection from audio speech streams and augments it with witty repartee, 
dialog generation based on a Yo Mama joke corpus

The smart phone of the future will not only help the dim witted people 
who blabber on so continuously that they don't realize that the other 
person isn't paying attention, it will also give them suggestions of 
witty repartee to insult the people pretending to listen to them with.

A spokesperson for the media lab spin off noted "This is a huge market 
that we hope to capitalize on.  Our studies have proven that nearly 90% 
of cell phone users are clueless self absorbed jerks that think that 
they are in the 10% that are not.  The other 10% are all in CSAIL and 
they are too snobby to believe in 'smart phones' because they can't tell 
the difference between a cabbage and an orangutan so they only buy 
rotary phones anyway.  Basically, we have 100% of the market."
