FC Dynamo CSAIL vs FC MediaLab 1985

Today in GSB sporting news:

As the World Cup approaches soccer fever (or football for those of you with origins on other continents) is sweeping the world. Not only on the pitch but off.

An upcoming soccer match between the Muslim Imams and Catholic Priests, to be officiated by several Rabis, is looking to be a real monotheistic showdown. The logistics are still being hammered out however, as it is difficult to find a day that both teams, and the officials are allowed, by religious doctrine, to participate.

But not all of the action is taking place in Germany... In local sporting news, there are rumors that Rod Brooks and Victor Zue are trying to pull together their squad, FC Dynamo CSAIL, to take down Nicholas Negroponte and Marvin Minsky's, FC MediaLab 1985, in a game officiated by Noam Chomsky. A neutral playing field is still being decided upon as is the issue of whether the involved faculty will be allowed the assistance in the match of robotic companions. If so the Roomba-Kismet match-up in the midfield looks to be particularly fierce. The logistics have been complicated on account of political opposition from Chomsky. However, negotiations are ongoing and the outlook for a game by mid June is promising.

Place your bets on the winner in any of these games, at this week's World Cup countdown edition of...
