EHAD: Elevator-Hamster Appreciation Day

We all get tired.  We all need breaks.  We all enjoy a beer on a cool 
sunny Thursday afternoon.  But sometimes it goes to far.  When you get 
so drunk that you can't manage to do your job the next morning we all 
suffer.

Sometimes the rat race hits a little too close to home.  And as the big 
wheel keeps spinning around sometimes you get a bit lost in it all. 
Combine all of this with the afore mentioned evening and by about 10am 
you might just loose it.  You may give up on ever reaching that big 
juicy carrot hanging just over the horizon.

Having a large load of supplies destined for the 7th floor (for the 
scouts of course) and finding that our specially bread and imported 
elevator Hamster was "on break" (ahem... or passed out in a pool of his 
post partying vomit), I gained a new appreciation for our little furry 
friend.  He's been scolded, hydrated, given 2 advil, and put back in his 
place.  The elevators are once again running and now its time to honor 
him.  This is why today has been declared as Elevator-Hamster 
Appreciation Day!  Our most unsung coworker runs hard 24 hours a day so 
that our lazy butts can get up to our offices and down to our truck food.

So join me in taking the stairs and offering up a toast for said furry 
friend at todays special Elevator-Hamster Appreciation Day edition of:
