AI + LCS merger via kickball

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The committee has unanimously endorsed the plan described in this
memo, which envisions an eventual merger of the AI and LCS
laboratories, and proposes a specific set of steps to be taken during
a transitional phase.  The merge itself is envisioned to happen about
18 months after we move into the Stata Center.

MERGER PLAN #1:

We tried to come up with some sort of merger plan that was fair and equitable 
to everyone, and failed miserably.  Instead, we will resort to the 
old-fashioned way to resolve our differences: competitive athletics.

MERGER PLAN #2:

The two labs shall engage in the sport of kickball.  The labs shall divide 
into teams and play best of seven on a neutral site (TBD).  LIDS will referee. 
  No aiming at the head.  The winning lab gets first dibs on everything.

Warmups this Sunday, 11 pm.  Don't be late!  Strategy meeting tonight at
