Down with Determinants

Classes are like GSB messages. They consume a surprising amount of time.

I'm listening in on two classes this term and so far they've been great. 
For one of the classes I've been writing down some funny quotes from the 
professor which I'm pretty sure don't make any sense out of context and 
probably aren't really that funny either. Points for guessing the class 
or professor, unless you're in the class, which disqualifies you.

"DON'T deal with determinants. Don't do it."

"Finite differences can't do miracles!"

I thought I had more quotes, but I must have been paying too much 
attention to the material.   We're looking for some more GSB message 
writers, so if you want to write messages, please let me know.
