Things that should be obvious

Lately I've run into some things that seem like they should be obvious,
but for some reason aren't.

For example, the white power outlets stop working, but the orange ones
still seem okay. You just switch over to the orange ones. You could
report that the white outlets aren't working, but the magic power
fairies will sense the problem and fix it for you. FAIL.

Maybe you notice that the beverages in the fridge aren't cold any more.
You could investigate further, but people seem to not mind the warm
beverages. FAIL.

You've escaped from jail. You're handcuffed to your fellow escapee. Run.
Run. There's a light post there, but you see no problem each running on
a different side. That always causes hilarious issues in cartoons, but
we all know cartoons don't use real physics. FAIL.

There are some actual Girl Scouts selling cookies in the building
tonight. It would make sense to have some Girl Scout cookies at the Girl
Scout Benefit. I can take care of this one.
