There's a lot of anti-freedom bills going through congress, it seems.
We all know about SOPA and PROTECT-IP [1], but there are also a couple
that will allow the government to indefinitely hold people without
trial. Someone in power just needs to accuse you of being somehow
affiliated with Al-Qaeda or 9-11.
So I've been thinking a lot lately. Sometimes when I start thinking, I
can't stop [3]. Why would I want to stop? Well, because I get all
"conspiracy theorist" on myself. I don't like it, and yet these
conspiracy theories start to make sense. I need someone (or some group)
to tell my why I'm crazy by pointing out the missteps in my logic. What
better place to come, than CSAIL-related [4]?
So here's the conspiracy: 9-11 was an inside job.
I know, I know. You're all thinking "WTF, jam-dizzle. I never thought
you were *that* kind of guy." Well, generally I'm not. But I've
noticed something. Let's ignore all of the "scientific" stuff about the
melting point of steel, and the "eye witnesses" that claimed they heard
explosions below the tower, and the fact that the buildings came down
like a demolition, and the fact that the rubble looked identical to a
demolition's rubble, and that it's impossible to get any actual proof
that what the government said happened, happened [5]. Something that
came to mind with all of this new legislation, was that, when you think
about it, the group or entity that has gained the most out of 9-11 seems
to be the American government. It's kind of funny, in a completely
terrifying sort of way.
What have they gained?
Well, as far as I can tell, they've slowly put themselves into a
position of complete power over the people of America through various
pieces of legislation. I reread our constitution [6] and the
declaration of independence [7]. One sentence really stood out to me:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable
Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness." because it seemed to sum up "The Spirit of America" [8].
This country was founded on the belief that our "Creator" [9] gave us
certain rights. The purpose of establishing the government (the one
that was to become our federal government) was to ensure those
inalienable rights were upheld. Unfortunately [10], this government
only has power over this country, so laws often provide more freedoms to
citizens than non-citizens. I think, over time, this was misinterpreted
to mean that only U.S. citizens have these rights. No one else should.
Pity ... that seems obviously wrong to me.
But now, I guess, we don't have those rights either. Why may 9-11 have
been an inside job? My "inner conspiracy theorist" would say, "Well,
obviously because it resulted in the American government having way more
rights than its people do." I guess I'm still not convinced [11]. It
would be funny, though, if all those "Occupy Wall Street" protesters
start disappearing, instead of merely having the shit kicked out of them
by "law enforcement". Funny in a completely terrifying sort of way.
I'm sick of all these thoughts. Let's talk about bunnies--No! *Pink*

the most outspoken, prominent, peaceful freedom fighters of this
age--shit for every little thing, whether warranted or not?
[5] Obviously several buildings blew up, but there's no evidence of a
plane ever having been at either of the 2 other crash sites. Unless our
government's word is proof enough. If that's the case, you should
probably not care too much about any of these bills being passed.
