[csail-related] GSB Tonight: Walking

I walk to lab every morning, and walk back every day [1]. Lately (over
the past month or two) I've noticed I take quite a bit longer to make
the walk. Once upon a time it was about 15 minutes. Recently it's been
20--25 minutes. Being the good scientist I am, I deduced that it was
because I was walking slower [2]. I was kind of sad about walking
slower, though. I thought it must mean I'm getting older, or something.
Perhaps I'm not nourishing myself well and, as a result, I can't find
the energy to walk at my normal pace.
Then the weather changed.
You would be surprised how much faster you walk when it's cold outside
and you don't want to be there anymore! Then again, since you all live
(or have lived) in this area, dealt with its snow and storms, and
weathered it all with a smile on your face (I'm sure), maybe you would
not be surprised.
Anyways, I'm pushing 10 minutes now.
How long does it take you to get to lab? Do you walk, ride, or drive?
Do tell, at this week's:

Once you are in 32, just take the G-elevator to the 9th
floor and we will be in the lounge that you will be looking at

[1] I guess, technically, there are exceptions to this rule. Generally
I walk home, though.
[2] Actually I used my kinesthetic abilities to determine this fact. My
scientific faculties remained untapped.
