The little computer

Once upon a time, there was a little Computer. The Computer woke up one day and said, ``I want to be Intelligent.'' So the Computer began a journey to find a Wizard who would make him Intelligent.

On his journey, the Computer first came upon a Logician. the Logician said, ``Little Computer, i will make you Intelligent. All you need are some Predicates, and Theorems, and Modus Ponens.'' So the little Computer let the Logician program him for a long time, and after a while he got really good at fetching bananas, but somehow he felt he was not really Intelligent, so he left the Logician.

Next he came upon a Knowledge Engineer. The Engineer said, ``Intelligence is complex, but I know all of its Rules, so just let me give you a few of them.'' So the Computer let himself be programmed by the Engineer for a very long time, but the Engineer would never tell him when he would be done, so he got bored and left the Engineer.

Finally he came upon a Mathematician. The Mathematician said, ``To become Intelligent, you must Learn. I can help you Learn from Examples.'' So the Mathematician gave the Computer lots and lots of Examples to look at, until his eyes got tired and sore, and finally the little Computer gave up and said,

``This so-called Intelligence is overrated. Everything I ever need
to know I already learned at
