It has come to my attention that we do not have a GSB emergency
evacuation policy. This document will serve as the official plan of
action in case of the likely emergencies to occur at GSB:
If the fridge is disabled:
Do not panic. Just as the Hitchhiker's guide says, remain calm, find
your towel and proceed to the nearest ice machine. Collect as much ice
as you can in your towel and bring it back to GSB. We will fill a
bucket and save the beverages. This may sound like a big deal but it
used to be the status quo...

If you see behavior deemed suspicious by the bylines of GSB doctrine:
Again, do not panic. Notify the organizer or take vigilante action.
Laptops, in particular are a threat to GSB and should be summarily
removed from the grounds by any means necessary. Note: GSB is not
responsible for lost or damaged property. Also see addendum 2.718b to
the laptop guidelines which explicitly allow the use of laptops for the
purposes of online stalking as ruled in the precedent of GSB vs TAH in
the case of the misc phone number posted on GSB turf.
In the event that the fridge is empty:
At this point, panic is appropriate. Grab your towel, and dry away your
tears. If this does not make you feel better wet the end of your towel
in the sink and slap the organizers until they fetch more supplies.
Since all hell has broken loose at this point relax and peruse the web
page: http://projects.csail.mit.edu/gsb for amusement and personal
gratification until such time as supplies are replenished.
Come discuss these and other emergency GSB scenarios at this weeks
convocation of the GSB safety committee to be held at:
