[csail-related] GSB Tonight: Assassin

"Assassin" is a weird word. I'm not sure, but it seems to be a compound
word. Something to do with donkeys and where they happen to be at some
moment in time. This makes phrases like "Assassin Battle" kind of funny
to me ... Which reminds me of an awesome blog post you should probably
check out.

Another version of the origin of the word I've heard, is that it derives
from the Arabic for "follower of Hassan", aschishin. The story goes, he
would trick them into thinking he had the power to bring them to heaven
if they did what he asked. This resulted in this guy's followers being
willing to do ANYTHING for him. They were devoted to the point of
committing murder. As a result, Marco Polo flew in on a unicorn and
invented an English word, or something. I forgot the rest of the story.
Other variations exist, you can peek around the internet for various
stories. I would recommend you just go the Assassin kickoff today in
Star (Star? Star.) to learn the real truth behind the word.
Oh, and I forgot: this is a GSB message, so come to this week's:
